DAYS 27 and 28 of the Chronic Pain and Insterstitial Cystitis Awareness Month Challenge

The September awareness months are drawing to and end, and I’ve impressed myself that I have not missed a day (albeit some posts have been a bit late!).

Today I am going to share my answers to days 27 and 28.

The Chronic Pain Awareness Challenge

Day 27: what keeps me from throwing in the towel is the wonderful support I have from my husband.  He is always there for me at the end of a long, hard day and never ceases to amaze me and surprise me.  My husband goes out of his way to make sure I am looked after and that I know how much he loves me.  If if wasn’t for him, I would have struggled to get back to working full-time.

Day 28: Five fun facts about me (that are not related to my health) are;

  1. My favourite thing to do is go shopping – mainly for clothes and shoes
  2. I love baking
  3. I can eat chocolate like there is no tomorrow
  4. My favourite tea is mint tea
  5. I used to figure skate

Day 27: I am inspired by my fellow spoonies on a daily basis – they keep pushing through battles which are tough and still manage to have a smile on their faces

Day 28: Hmm, hot?  Well I love hot weather and using heat to soothe my pain! I prefer going on holiday to hot destinations rather than cold ones.  The only time I don’t enjoy the heat is when I am working, stuck inside my windowless office or can’t sleep at night.
