For those of you who are regulars here at Endo Bunny, you’ve probably noticed the lack of posts over the last couple of months.
I’ve spent some time in hospital, back and fourth to the hospital and catching several bugs and viruses along the way, and for those of you who follow Endo Bunny’s Instagram account (@endobunny) then you’ll have seen it was a rough ride.
But there is something very positive that has come out of it…
It’s definitely not been an easy ride, and there have been several scary complications along the way, but I’m around 4 months pregnant and things are slightly improving.
I appreciate pregnancy can be a sensitive topic for those with Endometriosis and/or Adenomyosis, so for any future posts I’ll pop a trigger warning at the top. I want to share my pregnancy journey with you, as for someone with multiple chronic illnesses, it’s been really difficult and I’ve got lots of appointments with midwives and consultants to keep things ticking along.
And for those of you who are wondering if being pregnant I had any impact on my Endometriosis and Adenomyosis pain, I can tell you it has had a small impact. The first 10 weeks or so were relatively pain-free, but unfortunately things have really started to come back. Just goes to prove for all those ignorant healthcare professionals that think pregnancy is a magical cure for Endometriosis, it really isn’t!
