About

I started this blog to jot down my experiences of life with chronic illness – the good, the bad and the ugly.  I hope that what I write on Endo Bunny can provide support and information for anyone in a similar situation, even just slightly.  I aim to raise awareness and provide an honest account of what it’s like living with long-term health conditions.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Interstitial Cystitis in 2016, after being poorly with symptoms since I was a child and my got my first period.  Since then, I’ve undergone multiple operations and treatments to try and ease my troublesome symptoms and subsequently been diagnosed with Adenomyosis, PCOS and M.E. (although this is very well managed).

In my day job, I work part-time as a Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist for a hospital that provides both NHS and private care.  I am also an associate lecturer at a local university.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and baby son, friends and family, as well as shopping and crafting.  I’ve also taken part in various charity campaigns to raise awareness, share my story and write for online magazines.
